Humans tend to repress feelings rather than dealing with them
within any given situation. We often do this with an excuse to deal with
whatever it is at a better time. This leads us to not ever making the time to
deal with what we have repressed. This becomes toxic to the soul and the
emotional body. We must allow ourselves to feel in the moment. This process
gets easier to the point where we feel, accept, release, and
heal.
The repressed emotions injure our emotional body causing it harm. The
emotional body continues to be mistreated until it is a crumpled mess. We are
unaware of the damages we have caused to our own emotional health and
well-being. We are emotionally dysfunctional beings. We must heal our old wounds
and adopt a functional lifestyle. We owe it to ourselves and our health. We can
now choose to live an emotionally fit life and reap the
rewards.
We must now allow ourselves to delve inward to relive all our old
repressed feelings and heal. This sounds easy enough, but it is a very difficult
task. The unresolved feelings and emotions will bring us through a lot of pain.
The emotional body has been nicknamed the pain body for this very reason. The
pain will be intense. We will feel this as aches and pains much like the
flu. Our pain can even bring the impression we have been run over by a truck a
few times. We must persevere and heal these long overdue emotions. We will know
once we have accomplished this once the pain
subsides.
We now must learn to feel our emotions in the moment. We must allow
ourselves to fully feel, and to take ownership of our emotions. We must learn to
not react, or overreact, but accept. We must understand the importance of our
acceptance. This acceptance in the moment allows us to release ourselves of our
past, current, and future unhealthy behaviors. We are now able to feel emotions
from a more rational, objective perspective. This allows us to interact with
others in a healthy manner. We will have, and will continue to build better
relationships now.
